Today I want us to look at another way you can potentially make money online during your free-time: Watch Ads and get paid through Mpesa

Well, the truth is that there are quite a few apps that usually pay money to guys to play games (which is often what it means when you hear people speak about getting paid to watch ads).
Indeed, I have used some in the past (during my very early days as an online person)- There are even a couple with an option to simply watch ads for some rewards (More on this later).
Let me speak about one of these apps- and perhaps the best of the lot- JustPlay app.
Using JustPlay app to Watch Ads and earn
From my experience, JustPlay works just fine….there are actually loads of ads.
And in terms of what you can make, Diligent active play can net you about 99 US cents upto 2 dollars (US Dollars) every several hours.
What’s more?
Some of the listed games are really fun to play – if you ignore the avalanche of ads because the volume of ads is terribly annoying.
In other words, JustPlay is not an online scam-it does allow you to cash out successfully when you reach the threshold and is way than dozens of other trash apps being promoted as Watch Ads and get paid through Mpesa apps on play store.
What you need to do is download the app (Just search for the JustPlay app in the Play/App store) and open it (follow the prompts) to get started.
The one thing you may hate about the app is that the first tap could force you to install some random app and sometimes you can’t skip that step without re-starting JustPlay (and it is only then you will get to start watching the videos).
Let me add this about earnings because that’s where it gets a bit frustrating: While the app works and the money is available for cash out, it is hard to find it being worth the time you spend playing (and watching stuff).
For example, one time I tripled those loyalty coins goal (because loyalty points are what you gain first) well ahead of the timer running out but only ended up earning one dollar and about 30 US cents at cashout.
Okay, I know that you can maybe rack up enough loyalty points eventually to pay for a snack or fare back home in the evening ( if you’re super consistent and play a lot) but to me, the very small payouts are a turn off and didn’t encourage me to continue playing.
Otherwise, JustPlay permits cashout via PayPal once you earn at least $2 and you can transfer this money to your PayPal account – just be sure to link your PayPal account to your Mpesa number so it is like you’re getting paid via MPESA.
Do not forget that they keep their promise of paying out every 3 hours if you feel you have accumulated an amount worth withdrawing/
What is the expected Pay per hour?
Depends on the games you play (we said many times watching ads involves playing some phone games).
But if you must know, at one point I was being paid half a cent (US cent) to watch one video and the videos would refresh after every 2 minutes.
Better still, you can be allowed to cash out and as I had mentioned, the money is in your paypal within minutes after executing the cashout.
How can you automate watching ads to get paid on JustPlay app?
Okay, you can probably successfully set up a type of a bot (robot) to play games like solitare for you to earn automatically but it is not something I recommend.
Why?
Because JustPlay systems are typically configured to detect automation automatically.
So the cost of automating (because you may have to buy the bot) is likely to easily outstrip any profits- I already told you there is negligible reward for reaching those goals (points target).
Option 2: Inboxdollars app
Inboxdollars is another decent option when it comes to viewing ads and get paid online…
I should say that app has many offers (ad videos) including bank accounts/financial offers which seems to pay bigger amounts but overall, you can earn between 40-50 US cents a day (40 to 50 Kshs).
I also love that the app runs pretty good – start by downloading it for your Android (from PlayStore).
And again some of the games are somewhat fun too though not super lucrative.
On the downside, it takes longer to be able to withdraw to Paypal (and then MPesa).
To be clear, just know that you may need to wait for upto 10 business days from the date you have made the request.
The company says that the longer wait time for PayPal withdrawals is due to the volume of withdrawal requests they have to handle on some days.

- Choose REQUEST PAYMENT
- Choose PayPal option on the Rewards Page
- Now select the amount of redemption (it will be shown, depending on your credit).
Some tips if you’re willing to try InboxDollars app
The Playtime (under Offers) is very much worth doing because of the points
So download the games then open them and then let them sit.
Not only is that good for points….. you can occasionally get about 15 cents (Kshs.15) for 30 minutes- earnings normally start with 1 or 2 US cents per minute.

Because you watch ads and get paid through paypal and then MPESA, you need to have a PayPal account.
Remember that opening a PayPal account is free- you just need a legit email address. Of course, be sure to link it to MPESA .
Check app settings on your smartphone
Check your applications settings to ensure you have not blocked notifications since some of these apps will send you helpful alerts and reminders depending on the games/videos you have played/watched.

It can take a very long time to make a meaningful amount…imagine earning $10 in like 2 weeks?
Then consider the fact that it might make your phone very slow/laggy….well, I did not just like it but that’s me.

If you browse from a Safaricom line and you run out of data, there’s the option of watching ads and getting some little data.
The options (Dubbed ZeroD) comes automatically when you try to browse online and you are short of data.

This make money online option ultimately takes so much effort yet there’s so little gain….originally it took yours truly 3 months to earn ten dollars (I was literally playing/watching ads the whole night on some days)!
So in short, and this might hurt to hear, Making money by watching ads is not a solid way to make good money online that’s why I recommend you check out other options including Online writing, creating a YouTube channel, becoming a virtual assistant, Online tutoring, etc.
